In the early 1990s, Euroguarco started the prefabrication of simple tanks in the Arcola workshops and started to develop the business of metal construction and maintenance in refining and storage facilities throughout Italy.
Pursuing the tradition of its founders, the activity was immediately addressed to the manufacturing, installation and maintenance of pressure and storage devices for liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons.
The strong commitment of the management, together with the market opportunities of those years, soon made Euroguarco one of the leading companies in the oil & gas field, driven by the trust of several important Italian and foreign engineering companies.
The subsequent saturation of the Italian market of new plant constructions of the late 80’s led Euroguarco towards the activity of general contractor for projects abroad.
As a response to the foreign market that often required a sole interface, Euroguarco decided to specialize in the EPC both for pressure tanks and equipment in general, acquiring shares or entire companies working in these fields.
In the early 2000s, Euroguarco Group was born: an informal association of companies linked somehow to Euroguarco, each one with specific experience, certification and know-how.
Particularly, the collaboration with ITP Benelli SpA (now SRM Divisione Oil & Gas) first and then with SRCM Società Romana Costruzioni Meccaniche and Samec, allowed the group to acquire and successfully perform larger-size projects of pressure vessels and skid units worldwide, under ASME Stamp U, U1, R and S certifications.
Lately the group extended to other companies, to the extent that Euroguarco gave the birth to ITALPLANT srl, a networked company built with the aim of providing general contractor services to its customers.
