• Manual Reducing Gear
In most manual reducers, operating torque is transmitted to the ball via a conventional handwheel-worm gear or handwheel-scotchyoke mechanism. The system, housed in a watertight casing with an indicator for ball position, is grease lubricated. The ball’s 90o Rotation is regulated by adjustable limit stops.

• Electric Actuators
Electric actuators are suitable for heavy-duty service in hostile environmental conditions, may be employed to actuate ball valves. Designed to operate at torques from 100 to 4000 Nm, they can cover a broad range of required torques (up to 350.000 Nm) when installed on valves fitted with suitable reducing gear.

• Pneumatic/Hydraulic Actuators
Pneumatic, hydraulic or gas-hydraulic actuators with break-away output torques ranging from 1000 up to 400.000 Nm can be used to operate valves under the most severe environmental conditions.The actuators may be supplied complete with all the most common auxiliary equipment (eg. E.S.D., Line-break and Fail-safe device) for controlling the valve, providing a safe service and fulfilling the most demanding pipeline requirements.
