July 2011: Euroguarco becomes Flexitallic’s licensee for the production of industrial gaskets

Starting on July 1st, a new production of gaskets under Flexitallic licence will become effective at Euroguarco’s Northern Italian site of Ticengo (CR).

The appointment follows the transfer of proprietary technology and the completion of inspection audits by Flexitallic Ltd, which led our manufacturing processes to be recognised as equivalent to those of the other production sites of the prestigious Anglo-American group.

The license agreement entitles Euroguarco to manufacture and supply industrial gaskets with Flexitallic® brand.

The product range consists in:

spiral-wound gaskets
metal-jacketd gaskets
Flexpro™ kam-profile gaskets
metallic gaskets (ring joint, flat, lenticular, etc.)
plastic gaskets obtained from such Flexitallic materials as SF and AF series, Sigma®, Flexicarb®, Thermiculite®, etc.

March 2010: Euroguarco has been awarded for the contract of supply and construction of "Estela de Luz"

Euroguarco has been awarded the contract for the construction of "Estela de Luz" (stele of light), the monument celebrating the bicentennial of Mexican independence.

"Estela de Luz”, designed by Cesar Perez Becerril, is a lighted tower that will be erected next September in the area of the Bosque de Chapultepec, in the heart of Mexico City.

117 meters high, of which 104 meters are above ground, the tower consists of eight stainless steel columns. The columns, each 910mm in diameter, will be placed in two parallel lines of four columns each, on the surface of which 1704 panels of transparent quartz will be mounted. The entire structure is equipped with the most modern anti-seismic and wind resistance systems.

The panels will be illuminated by a complex led system designed that will create spectacular and suggestive effects.
