SOLIBOARD thermal and acoustic insulation

SOLIBOARD, obtained from SOLIMIDE polyimide foam, is used as thermal and acoustic insulation in marine, aerospace, and industrial markets; available as cut panels in sheet form, pipe coverings and as profile shapes, faced with various types of finish materials.



Main properties are:
Weight Savings: SOLIBOARD foams are extremely lightweight, having a nominal density of 6,4 Kg/dm3
Operating Range: from -185°C to +300°C. Even at cryogenic temperatures, the foam maintains its flexibility.
Fire Resistance: SOLIBOARD is inherently fire resistant, emitting virtually no smoke or toxic by-products when exposed to open flame.
Thermal/Acoustical Performance: outstanding acoustic absorption and thermal insulating properties for lightweight materials.
Ease of Installation: These fibre-free products are light and easy to handle, cut, and fit on-site and, in most cases, stud requirements are greatly reduced or eliminated.
Durability: SOLIBOARD is impermeable to water and oils, shows significantly greater resistance to damage than traditional insulating products, and maintain its integrity after long-term usage.
